Nursing Lecturer

We are seeking a highly qualified Nursing Lecturer to join our team at Georgia Southern University. As a key member of our School of Nursing, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in undergraduate and graduate courses, promoting student success, and contributing to ongoing program and curricular assessment.

• Teach didactic and clinical courses in nursing, including undergraduate and graduate programs
• Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students
• Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve student outcomes
• Participate in program and curricular assessment to ensure alignment with university and accreditation standards
• Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise in areas of responsibility
• Contribute to service in school, college, and university committees and initiatives

• Earned master's degree in nursing or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours related to nursing
• Terminal degree in a field of nursing to serve as instructor of record for graduate courses
• Unencumbered RN licensure in Georgia
• Nurse Practitioner applicants must have certification and licensure as a nurse practitioner
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning
• Technological literacy and a commitment to integrate technology into teaching
• Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives

• Previous teaching experience at the university level and baccalaureate and/or graduate nursing education
• Experience in online instruction and development, and human simulation
• Experience working with a diverse student body
