Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance of the pharmacy department, ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly environment.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager and acquire continuing education credits to maintain knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
• Prefer PTCB or ExCPT certification.
