At Jeff D'Ambrosio Auto, we're committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. We're seeking a highly skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing top-notch repair services.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and procure necessary parts for repairs, review repair orders and work orders, and follow warranty guidelines.
  • Adjust, replace, and repair various truck and trailer equipment, including sheet metal repairs, fiberglass/panel repairs, fabrication, and structural welding.
  • Road test vehicles as needed to ensure quality repairs.
  • Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills, including truck manufacturer's repair processes.
  • Perform work as outlined on repair estimates with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Teardown and inspect for additional or hidden repairs.
  • Advise body shop estimators of additional damage or supplemental needs or if repairs will not be completed on time.
  • Road test vehicles to ensure quality repairs.
  • Supervise work of any apprentice technicians.
  • Maintain ASE certifications.
Requirements
  • Welding, suspension, and framework experience a plus, or willingness to learn/train.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications.
  • Damage Analysis and Estimating Certification for Collision Repair.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Components Certification for Collision Repair.
  • Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair Certification for Collision Repair.
  • State Vehicle Inspector Certification.
  • Certifications listed above or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.
