Job Summary

Ryder System Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A Shuttle to join our team. As a dedicated solo class A CDL truck driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers within a 30-mile radius, operating a tractor trailer, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Loading and unloading freight, or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by the customer
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
