Overview

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for the planning, design, and deployment of applications in the cloud.
  • Evaluate, design, and create automated cloud-based architectures to transition legacy systems effectively.
  • Enhance cybersecurity measures and automation capabilities to enable the full realization of a DEVSECOPS delivery pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in cloud architecture.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • Proven experience in cloud architecture, design, development, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Expertise in architecting and establishing scalable and resilient cloud environments that comply with NIST and DoD security standards.
  • Experience in deploying DEVSECOPS application management automation tools.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions.
  • Cloud Certifications: Solutions Architect (Professional), Cloud Practitioner, SysOps Administrator, DEVOPS Engineer, Big Data (AWS or similar certifications are highly preferred).
  • Experience in supporting distributed application and data warehouse architecture.
  • Proficient in using Kanban for tracking work assignments and communicating with project teams.
  • Direct experience in transitioning from a DoD shared service environment.
  • Possession of a Secret Clearance.
