At Krafted By KC, we're pushing the boundaries of real-time multimodal intelligence. We're hiring a skilled Software Engineer to help us achieve this mission.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced software engineer who can design and build low-latency, scalable, and reliable model inference and serving stacks for our cutting-edge SSM foundation models.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our research team and product engineers to translate innovative research into groundbreaking products.

You'll be responsible for building highly parallel, high-quality data processing and evaluation infrastructure for foundation model training.

In this role, you'll have significant autonomy to shape our products and directly impact how AI is applied across various devices and applications.

The Ideal Candidate
  • You have strong engineering skills, comfortable navigating complex codebases and monorepos.
  • You possess an eye for craft and can write clean, maintainable code.
  • You're adaptable and can quickly learn new technologies (Go and Python on the backend, Next.js for the frontend).
  • You have experience building large-scale distributed systems with high demands on performance, reliability, and observability.
  • You have technical leadership skills and can execute and deliver results amidst ambiguity.
  • Bonus: background in or experience working with machine learning and generative models.
