About the Role

Invenergy is a leading developer and operator of renewable energy projects. We are seeking a skilled Solar Technician to join our team and contribute to the success of our solar and battery storage projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on solar and battery storage equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of solar and battery storage technologies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of technical experience in a related field (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
  • Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • 10% travel required
Preferred Qualifications
  • EPA certification preferred
  • Commercial HVAC experience
  • Experience with PV maintenance, including DC systems, AC medium voltage systems, and network communications and monitoring
  • Experience in an industrial environment dealing with machine repair and maintenance
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and standard practices
