Camp Buckner is a faith-based retreat and conference center that serves various ministries, churches, youth groups, and businesses. Our mission is to honor God in all aspects of our service, providing a Christ-centered environment for all guests. As a Banquets and Meetings Host, you will be instrumental in crafting unforgettable dining experiences for our visitors, enhancing the overall camp atmosphere and promoting a spirit of community and fellowship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and prepare dining spaces for meal service.
  • Assist in food service during meals, ensuring prompt and friendly service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas.
  • Support kitchen staff with meal preparation tasks as needed.
  • Engage with campers and guests, addressing inquiries, accommodating special requests, and providing assistance.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service, coordinating tasks and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Help clean and sanitize dining areas post-meal.
  • Assist in the upkeep of meeting rooms and common areas as required.
  • Comply with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • High school-level education or equivalent required. Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Demonstrated courtesy and attentiveness towards guests.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow directions.
  • Capability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods, climbing stairs, and lifting heavy items.
