Job Summary:The Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for nursing staff, as well as providing clinical expertise and guidance to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff, including orientation, training, and professional development.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to identify learning needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- MSN or DNP degree preferred; BSN required.
- Current certification in nursing education or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as a clinical nurse with demonstrated evidence of leadership progression.
- Competency in adult learning principles and a sound clinical nursing knowledge base.
The Clinical Nurse Educator will work in a variety of patient care environments, including the central float pool and IV team. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
