Job Title: Professional Land Surveying Specialist

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year

Louvre Engineering Associates is seeking a skilled Professional Land Surveying Specialist to join our team in Connecticut or Massachusetts. As a key member of our Land Survey Division, you will provide technical oversight for all land surveying services, including boundary surveys, utility surveys, and topographic surveys.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in construction surveying and a Professional Land Surveying license. They will be responsible for providing technical support for multiple survey teams, participating in project scoping, conducting research of public and private land records, and preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project scoping and proposal preparation
  • Conducting research of public and private land records
  • Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys
  • Verification of data, calculations, and CAD drafting
  • Writing property boundary descriptions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of construction surveying experience
  • Professional Land Surveying license (Connecticut with the ability to obtain licensure in other states)
  • Expertise in all aspects of land survey standards and boundary law
  • Self-motivated with good time management and the ability to occasionally work outdoors as needed
  • Excellent communication skills enabling effective cooperation with cross-functional teams and clients
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in surveying results
  • Understanding of the Field to Finish process
  • Proficient with surveying software including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Carlson Survey
