We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Registered Nurse to join our team at Houston Methodist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading clinical activities in our department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional direct patient nursing care to a diverse patient population, including patients with complex needs.
- Assume leadership responsibilities and contribute to departmental and institutional goals.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Identify and address staff development opportunities to promote professional growth and improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality and safety initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and reduce errors.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing.
- Three years of nursing experience, with one year in a specialty preferred.
- Current RN licensure in Texas or Compact State licensure within 60 days.
- BLS certification (AHA).
