Director Finance for The Family Tree

Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled Chief Financial Officer to oversee our financial operations and lead our finance team at LifeBridge Health.

About Us:

The Family Tree is a leading authority in Maryland for the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Our vision is that all children are raised in safe and supportive families and communities. We achieve this through research-based programs that strengthen families and break the cycle of abuse and neglect.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll functions and fringe, and grants management cycle
  2. Develop and monitor agency and program budgets
  3. Oversee cash management/ Treasury function
  4. Perform financial reporting and analysis
  5. Serve as staff liaison to the Finance and Executive committees of the Leadership Board.
  6. Develop and monitor financial procedures
  7. Serve as liaison to outside accounting firm during the annual audit
  8. Assist the Development department with fiscal issues related to grant writing and reporting
  9. Assist Treasurer with the development and implementation of agency's financing activities
  10. Serve as liaison between LifeBridge Health and Family Tree finance departments
  11. Oversee monthly closeout activities.
  12. Track and record revenue from various platforms.
  13. Manage payroll activity and accruals
  14. Review and manage daily banking and credit transactions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
  • 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the non-profit sector
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Able to multitask
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with accounting software

Salary Range:$110K-$115K per year based on experience.
