The Assistant General Manager at Sonic Drive-In is a key member of our restaurant team, responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing the daily operations of the restaurant. Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, supervise, manage, direct, and develop a team of Great People to provide a SuperSONIC experience to every guest.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure every guest leaves the lot satisfied every time by maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.
  • Operations Management: Manage the majors: food and paper, labor, and guest service to ensure efficient operations and maximum profitability.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain and enforce Sonic safety and sanitation standards, as well as comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Business Acumen: High standards for self and the team, with a positive attitude and resilience in the face of challenges.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to prioritize and complete tasks accordingly, with effective communication skills and basic math and reading skills.
  • Availability: Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
