Job Title: Professor of Architecture

We are seeking a highly qualified Professor of Architecture to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a wide range of design, architectural, fabrication, and construction-related skills, technologies, concepts, and practices in both classroom and hands-on settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and develop curriculum for architecture courses
  • Assist students and maintain scheduled office hours
  • Participate in ongoing curriculum and course development and improvement
  • Develop and participate in high school outreach and articulation efforts
  • Coordinate and maintain industry relationships
  • Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Architecture or related field
  • Professional experience in architecture or related field
  • Teaching experience in architecture or related field
  • Knowledge of culturally-responsive pedagogical techniques
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctoral degree in Architecture or related field
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Knowledge of software commonly used in academia and industry
