Job Description

We are seeking a Paramedic to join our team, responsible for providing emergency and non-emergency medical care to the ill and injured, and working as part of a prehospital multidisciplinary team to supervise and promote cohesive patient care management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Emergency Response: Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing immediate care to patients at the scene or en route to hospital, and safely operating emergency vehicles in high-stress situations.
  2. Patient Assessment: Perform thorough assessments of medical, trauma, and environmental emergencies, and provide treatment and stabilization of patients as needed.
  3. Technical Skills: Use technical equipment such as IV infusion pumps, patient monitors, defibrillators, ECG machines, ventilators, and perform invasive procedures when necessary.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: 2 years of practical experience in Emergency Medical Services is preferred.
  • Education: High school graduate, GED, or equivalent, and successful completion of a Paramedic course or equivalent.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registry: State of Montana Paramedic or Registered Nurse with recent Certificate of Equivalency or Physician Assistant licensure required, National (NREMT) certification preferred, and BLS and ACLS.
