Job Summary:The Field Case Manager will work closely with treating physicians, employers, customers, and injured individuals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the individual's needs and goals. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize cases effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the individual's needs and goals
- Collaborate with treating physicians and employers to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
- Conduct interviews with injured individuals to assess their overall recovery and develop a treatment plan
- Work with employers to modify job duties where practical to facilitate early return to work
- Evaluate and modify case goals based on the individual's improvement and treatment effectiveness
- Independently manage workload, prioritizing cases and deciding how best to manage cases effectively
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- 2+ years clinical practice experience preferred
- Workers' compensation-related experience preferred
- Ability to advocate recommendations effectively with physicians, employers, and customers
- Ability to work independently and prioritize cases effectively
- Knowledge of basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Email
