About the RoleThis is an excellent chance for skilled RNs to grow professionally while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. As a Step Down Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act. Your expertise will play a vital role in creating a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients.
- Perform initial triage evaluation and assign acuity level to patients;
- Administer treatments, medications, and procedures within the scope of practice;
- Participate in coordination of care with management staff, team leaders, physicians, department staff, and ancillary services;
- Be responsible for delegation of duties to technical support staff, maintaining accountability of delegation;

QualificationsTo excel in this role, you will need:
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing;
- Licensure: Current KY RN or Compact State License in the state of residence;
- BLS obtained within 90 days of employment;
