POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Nursing Supervisor will oversee Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Medical Assistants within a psychiatric residential treatment facility catering to adolescents. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices, coordinating training programs, and addressing professional, administrative, and supervisory challenges.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in Oregon.
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with a background in adolescent residential treatment or psychiatric nursing. A combination of relevant experience and training that demonstrates the necessary knowledge and skills will also be considered. Supervisory experience is highly desirable.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
CERTIFICATIONS: Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Oregon.
DRIVER'S LICENSE: A valid Oregon driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required, along with insurability under Looking Glass auto insurance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate medical care for all clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations.
- Act as a liaison between Looking Glass Community Services and the broader medical community, including hospitals.
- Maintain comprehensive medical records for each client, which include treatment plans, medication administration records, progress notes, and 30-day reviews as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While executing the responsibilities of this role, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands for tasks, and communicate verbally. Specific vision abilities required include close vision. The employee may occasionally need to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, and must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
