Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medtech to join our team at Grand Pines Assisted Living Center. As a Medtech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate administration of medications to our residents, while also providing exceptional care and support to enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents as ordered by licensed healthcare professionals
  • Accurately document medication administration in the EMAR system
  • Follow proper protocol for reporting medication-related concerns
  • Count and document medication inventory, including narcotics and controlled substances
  • Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and med room
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
  • Provide emotional support and assistance to residents as needed
  • Comply with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent experience
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
