Horticulture Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Horticulture Instructor to join our team at Robeson Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing the Horticulture program, as well as providing academic advising and support to students.

• Develop and teach Horticulture courses, including curriculum design and implementation
• Provide academic advising and support to students, including guidance on course selection and career goals
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program assessments and evaluations
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices in Horticulture education
• Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or a related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of three years of experience in Horticulture education or a related field
• Pesticide licensure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
