About the Opportunity
Community College System of New Hampshire is seeking a part-time in-person instructor for its Human Services and Addiction Counseling programs.
Job Summary
This position involves teaching one or more courses in a live, in-person full semester 16-week format. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising students engaged in internship/practicum courses and current or prior Human Service and/or Addiction Counseling experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach one or more courses in NHTI's Human Services and Addiction Counseling programs
- Supervise students engaged in internship/practicum courses
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major study in addiction counseling, human service, social work, substance use disorder treatment, counseling, social science, or a related field
- Possession of a Master's degree in Education with twelve (12) graduate credits in the subject/content area closely related to the teaching assignment and a Bachelor's degree in the subject/content area or closely related field to the teaching assignment combined with a minimum of two years of related teaching and/or professional work experience
Additional Information
Experience and familiarity with Canvas or a similar learning management system (LMS) is a plus. Applicants for in-person instruction must reside in New Hampshire. The estimated salary for this position is $800-$950 per credit, which translates to approximately $15,600 - $19,000 per semester based on a 12-credit course load.
