Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Acupuncture Practitioner to become a vital part of our holistic healthcare team at The Healing Storm Holistic Wellness LLC. The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering acupuncture therapies and offering comprehensive wellness support to our clientele.

This position necessitates a thorough knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) methodologies, exceptional patient interaction skills, and the capability to collaborate effectively within a diverse healthcare environment.


Primary Duties:
1. Conduct thorough patient evaluations to gather medical history, symptoms, and concerns.
2. Create personalized treatment strategies grounded in TCM principles.
3. Administer acupuncture therapies utilizing sterile, single-use needles.
4. Track patient progress and modify treatment strategies as needed.
5. Educate clients about their health conditions and the advantages of acupuncture.
6. Keep precise and current patient documentation.
7. Comply with all safety and sanitation protocols.
8. Stay informed about advancements in acupuncture and TCM through ongoing education.
9. Work alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
10. Advocate for the practice and services through community engagement and education.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine.
- Valid acupuncture license in the state of Maryland.
- Certification from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) or an equivalent body.
- Strong grasp of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion and empathy towards patients.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and build patient trust.
- Preferred experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
- Preferred additional certifications in related fields.
- Preferred minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an acupuncturist.
- Preferred understanding of Western medical practices and the ability to integrate them with TCM.
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish or ASL are a plus.

Physical Requirements:
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Manual dexterity and precision in delivering acupuncture treatments.
- Ability to manage stress effectively in a dynamic environment.
