Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time Day Shift

Select Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a full-time day shift position. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of their work.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Document patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment, as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a critical care or intensive care unit.
  • Certification in a specialty area, such as critical care or pediatrics.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
