NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse in this dynamic environment, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

This is a Full Time Night Shift position, working 7PM - 7AM. Every Other Weekend shifts are required. We are looking for a Registered Nurse with at least one year of acute care experience in an ED, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Independently assess patient conditions and rapidly arrange multidisciplinary care
  • Comfort families and organize teams when every second counts
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies
Requirements
  • At least one year of acute care RN experience in an ED
  • 2+ years acute care experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license (or pending)
  • BCLS from the American Heart Association
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire
  • PALS and TNCC within 1 year of hire
  • Participation on one of 12 clinical councils after completion of probation
  • Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) within 3 years of hire
