About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Wilsonville, Oregon. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering quality physical therapy services to patients.

Job Description

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week with an 8-hour day shift. You will work closely with our physical therapists to restore function, prevent disability, and return patients to their optimal potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver physiotherapy treatments to patients of all ages, following treatment plans established by physical therapists.
  • Provide patient education and progress treatment as per treatment plans, physician orders, and professional standards.
  • Communicate effectively with evaluating therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to PTA.
  • Successful completion of clinical internships.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Physical Therapy Assistant License in the state where care is provided.
  • Basic Life Support certification within two months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications

We also welcome candidates with:

  • One year of clinic experience in a comparable setting.
  • Knowledge base applicable to patient loads at KSMC.
  • Skills in group dynamics and leading classes.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
