Role Responsibilities

In alignment with our mission and values, the Facilities Maintenance Technician will execute general maintenance tasks across various communities, ensuring residents' needs are met and homes are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize company technology to manage work orders for maintenance projects as directed.
  • Complete unit turnovers as assigned.
  • Ensure timely completion of work orders and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests, which may involve on-call duties.
  • Maintain required certifications for the position.
  • Uphold community standards as per company guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience.
  • Knowledgeable in plumbing and/or electrical systems.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance and repair processes, with a focus on resident satisfaction.
  • Adaptable and resourceful problem solver.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements:

This position involves extensive walking, bending, balancing, kneeling, squatting, and climbing. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and possess good communication abilities.

Work Conditions:

Travel between communities may be necessary. Work will be conducted both indoors and outdoors, including residential areas and communal spaces.
