Nurse Practitioner

As a skilled Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring positive patient outcomes. You will work under general supervision, promoting professional nursing practice by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities:
• Review patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in assigned unit to ensure that every patient receives the direct and proper care needed.
• Analyze patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current condition, to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Prepare nursing processes, such as medication administration and treatments to provide comprehensive and effective patient care.
• Reconcile medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Evaluate patient response to interventions and identifies any additional interventions needed to meet defined goals of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning.
Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• 1 year as a Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
• BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
