Job Summary

University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a highly skilled Family Clinician and Diagnostic Assessment Specialist to join our NAVIGATE program. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with individuals and families impacted by first episode psychosis to provide comprehensive care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend training, consultation, and supervision to ensure expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based interventions.
  • Engage in interprofessional education and collaborative care to provide seamless support to patients and their families.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments to determine eligibility for the NAVIGATE program and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and family therapy to promote adjustment to treatment and illness, as well as resource navigation and case management services.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care and address challenges related to achieving recovery goals.
  • Document patient information in the medical record to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • Master's level clinician in a related field, with licensure as a LICSW, LP, LMFT, or LPCC.
  • Experience with CBT and other evidence-based interventions, including social skills training, cognitive restructuring, and behavioral activation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
