Job Title: Histotechnologist

Job Type: Full-time

Job Location: Torrance, CA

Pay Range: $53.00 per hour

Job Shift: Day Shift / 4AM - 12PM PST, Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
  • Certification as a Histology Technician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL)
  • Proficiency in anatomy knowledge and laboratory procedures
  • Familiarity with vital signs monitoring
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination using various laboratory procedures
  • Embed, cut, stain, and mount tissue samples onto slides for pathological examination
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all procedures performed
  • Adhere to quality control and assurance protocols
  • Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
