Public Works Maintenance Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Public Works Maintenance Professional to join our team at the City of Round Rock, TX. As a key member of our Public Works department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex mechanical systems that support our community's infrastructure.

  • Estimated Salary: $46,238.40 - $57,782.40 per annum

Responsibilities

As a Public Works Maintenance Professional, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and repairing mechanical components of our public works infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and utilities
  • Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement system improvement plans
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior staff members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of experience as a mechanic, electrician, or systems maintenance professional
  • A valid Class C Texas Driver's License
  • Certifications in public works maintenance (such as Class C Water Distribution or Wastewater Operator License)
