We are seeking a qualified Senior Human Resources Generalist to be an integral part of our headquarters team. This role is pivotal in supporting our strategic goals and enhancing employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Operations HR Manager in effectively communicating and implementing company policies and procedures.
- Oversee the complete recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates.
- Support managers in the performance evaluation process and facilitate follow-up meetings for new hires.
- Maintain and update job descriptions to ensure they align with organizational needs.
- Coordinate the annual performance review and merit increase process.
- Assist in managing disciplinary procedures and the termination process to ensure fairness.
- Organize and develop training sessions and workshops for staff development.
- Facilitate onboarding activities for new employees, addressing their inquiries and assisting managers in their integration.
- Become knowledgeable about benefits programs and address any related employee concerns.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee electronic records.
- Collaborate with site leadership to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Handle employment-related inquiries and address employee relations issues as they arise.
- Promote employee engagement initiatives to enhance the workplace experience.
- Support enterprise HR initiatives across various locations as required.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR Management Systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, MBA (HR Track), or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws at local, state, and federal levels.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and HR Management Systems.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
