About the Facility

This accredited regional referral facility serves a population of approximately 180,000 people across nine counties in southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. Our medical staff comprises over 100 active physicians, with half specializing in primary care and the other half in various specialties. We offer an extensive range of services, including interventional and non-interventional cardiology, obstetrics, pulmonology, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, and general surgery. Additionally, our hospital provides medical and radiation oncology services and has a robust outreach program.

The area boasts a central location for trade within a 50-mile radius, making it an attractive option for residents and visitors alike. Our local campus of Missouri State University offers excellent educational opportunities, including public and private schools, as well as academic and vocational programs such as nursing, respiratory care, and more. Job Description

We are seeking a BE/BC orthopedic surgeon to join our team of three experienced surgeons. This position offers a supportive work environment with dedicated colleagues, state-of-the-art facilities, and a strong primary care referral base. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with X-ray capabilities onsite and access to a MAKO robot-assisted surgical system.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in teaching opportunities, and contributing to the growth and development of our team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Excellent clinical skills and a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary based on MGMA standards, a $25,000 sign-on bonus, and a $10,000 relocation reimbursement. Additional benefits include:

  • A monthly educational stipend while completing training
  • Student loan support up to $100,000
  • $4,500 for CMEs and professional license fees, dues, and journals
  • 8 weeks of paid time off annually
  • Health, dental, vision, life, long-term disability, AD&D, and 403B matching up to 3% after one year
  • A 457 plan with a top hat plan max contribution of $18,000 per year

We accept J1 and H1B applicants and are located in the Delta Regional Authority, which has no limit on J1 waivers and no waiver application deadline.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $425,000, based on MGMA standards and industry benchmarks.
