Position Overview:
The Cardiovascular Therapy Engagement Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing awareness and understanding of advanced treatment options within the cardiovascular community. This position is integral to the mission of J&J Family of Companies, focusing on innovative healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute impactful educational and marketing initiatives aimed at healthcare professionals within the cardiovascular sector.
2. Collaborate with referring physicians to elevate awareness regarding treatment options available with Impella.
3. Design and implement market development strategies that support hospitals in identifying care pathways and standardizing treatment protocols.
4. Cultivate relationships within the cardiovascular field, including general cardiology, heart failure specialists, cardiac advanced practice providers, and primary care physicians.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Healthcare Solutions team to enhance networks that facilitate access to care for eligible patient populations.
Essential Duties:
- Organize and execute high-impact awareness events to promote advanced treatment options for patients.
- Foster regional referrals for patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) and heart failure, ensuring they receive appropriate evaluations for advanced therapies.
- Provide clinical insights and education to healthcare providers regarding patient selection for Impella.
- Develop patient care pathways to identify high-risk individuals and ensure timely evaluations.
- Support hospitals in creating marketing materials, organizing educational conferences, and other identified opportunities.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of successful outreach or market development experience in the medical device or cardiac pharmaceutical sectors, or 3-5 years in a specialized hospital program setting.
- Proven experience and connections within the cardiovascular domain, demonstrating strong clinical knowledge.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 60%).
- Proficient in PC software and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
The anticipated base salary for this role is competitive, complemented by a robust sales incentive compensation program. Employees may also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
