Position Overview:

A prominent client is looking for a Principal Software Engineer specializing in Quantitative Finance and Financial Technology.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of quantitative software engineers, researchers, and investment professionals on various high-impact projects.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of relevant software development experience
  • Proficiency in writing production-quality code within the financial technology or services sector
  • Experience in developing software for quantitative investment processes in areas such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, or risk management
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or similar languages
  • A solid understanding of applied mathematics, statistical models, and advanced financial concepts
