Position: Financial Portfolio Analyst
Location: Hybrid work arrangement
Contract Duration: Long-term engagement
Compensation: $60.00 per hour
Role Overview:
The Financial Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for gathering, monitoring, and managing budgetary planning for designated projects. This includes the collection of business requirements, accrual reporting, forecasting, invoice management, and client oversight. The role may also involve organizing project requirements, cost estimates, and preparing necessary documentation to facilitate project funding and initiation.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial Portfolio Analysis
- Experience in supporting IT teams with financial aspects of projects
- Proficient in Excel
Preferred Skills:
1. Advanced Excel automation capabilities
2. Familiarity with SAP
3. Experience with MyPPM or Clarity
Daily Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, monitor, and report on financials for technology projects across various teams.
- Maintain and oversee project budgets, ensuring effective cost management.
- Develop resource plans and convert them into financial forecasts.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly project forecasts and manage the forecasting process, including conducting project review meetings.
- Identify and address issues related to data or processes, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
- Build credibility with internal clients and navigate organizational dynamics effectively.
- Adapt communication style to suit different audiences and clients.
- Utilize analytical skills for budget management and financial analysis, collaborating with delivery and engineering leads to prepare project scoping and funding documentation.
