We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician III to join our team at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate specimen handling, and providing high-level technical support to clinical laboratory scientists.
Key Responsibilities- Specimen handling and distribution
- Use of Information Systems
- Perform portions of low to high complexity testing and reporting; and/or specimen processing and preparation (as assigned), by the laboratory section; following in-depth training and competency assessment; and under appropriate supervision.
- Customer service to internal and external customers in accordance with CMH shared values and service excellence programs
- Maintains general operations of the laboratory performs quality assurance activities
- Specimen collection (Phlebotomy and SWCL) in accordance with CMH policies and procedures as applicable.
- Associate's Degree and 3-5 years experience related lab experience or
- Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years experience related lab experience
