Cardiac Rhythm Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Monitor Technician to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for monitoring and accurately interpreting cardiac rhythms of patients on telemetric equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms of patients on telemetric equipment
- Provide continuous observation and identify basic arrhythmias
- Notify RN or Physician of changes/issues or dysrhythmia as they occur
- Troubleshoot false alarms and system/equipment issues
- Document values and mount rhythm strips according to unit standards
- Provide continuous observation of patients during special procedures
- Minimum one year experience monitoring cardiac activity
- Electrocardiography (ECG) Certification by time of hire
- Availability to work weekends and rotating shifts, including evenings, nights and holidays
