Position Overview
CHRISTUS Health is seeking a dedicated full-time Pediatric Psychologist to become a vital part of the Division of Pediatric Psychology. This role includes an appointment as a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics.
The focus of this position is entirely clinical, yet faculty members are encouraged to engage in research, educational activities, and administrative duties through our partnership with Baylor College of Medicine and CHRISTUS Health. Faculty members also have opportunities to present Grand Rounds and mentor residents in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and psychology interns during their clinical training in behavioral health.

Key Responsibilities- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, individual therapy, and family counseling for children and adolescents in the Pediatric Psychology clinic.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across pediatric specialties.
- Contributing to the development of new clinics and programs.
- Doctoral Degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or School Psychology from APA-accredited programs.
- Completion of an APA-accredited psychology internship.
- Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in child or pediatric psychology or equivalent experience.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas.
- Preferred experience or training in parent interventions and working with children with behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders, or a willingness to receive training in these areas.
