Physician Assistant

Job Summary:

The Evaluation and Treatment Center at OLV Human Services utilizes a multi-disciplinary model, incorporating medicine, psychology, speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, and behavior therapy.

We are seeking a Physician Assistant to work alongside a Physician and child Psychologist to provide assessments, diagnostic, and treatment services for children aged 2 through 21 with various developmental and behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs, reviewing medical history, and performing physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in patients aged 2 through 21
• Order and interpret laboratory work, imaging, etc.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and management of chronic conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

Requirements:

• Master's Degree from an accredited University in PA studies or higher
• At least 3 years' experience working with children and families (preferred)
• Physician's Assistant, Certified (PA-C)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
