Job Summary:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in school psychology and be passionate about supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and behavioral concerns.
- Interpret assessment results and collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and mental health services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions, crisis intervention, and behavior management support.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings, to discuss student progress, develop intervention plans, and make educational recommendations.
- Provide consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and other school staff on issues related to student behavior, learning, and social-emotional development.
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist from the State.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, educators, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to provide counseling and mental health services to students with diverse needs and backgrounds.
- Commitment to ethical and professional conduct, including adherence to the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Professional Standards and Practices.
