As a Residential Care Provider with GeorgiaGov, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with severe developmental disabilities in a group home or community residential setting. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor resident activity, observe and report behavior, and provide individualized skills training to meet their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities and provide training in basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills.
- Monitor resident activity and report behavior/progress to ensure the highest level of care.
- Develop and implement individualized skills training plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Collaborate with other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Any combination of training and experience that would enable the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
