Akina Pharmacy seeks a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to patients, providers, and healthcare partners. This role involves managing high-volume inbound and outbound communications, accurately documenting customer and patient information, and supporting the seamless workflow of prescription orders.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center or healthcare setting. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for handling high-volume inbound and outbound communications professionally and empathetically.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound communications, including calls, emails, and live chat, to confirm orders, schedule deliveries, and address any concerns or questions from patients and providers.
  • Accurately document customer and patient information while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support the seamless workflow of prescription orders by working collaboratively with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, healthcare administration) or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center or healthcare setting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to accurately document and manage detailed customer and patient information while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems, phone systems, and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
