As a Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PMEL), you will play a critical role in leading pharmacy execution and performance while building patient loyalty through exceptional customer service.

Job Summary

The PMEL program is a formal development program designed to provide interested Pharmacists with the opportunity to train and develop the necessary leadership knowledge, skills, and competencies over a period of time prior to being promoted into a Pharmacy Manager position. Participants will be assigned a coach to provide support and guidance while in the program and regular touch points will be scheduled to help monitor an individual's progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Broaden your capabilities and understand the important role pharmacy leaders play in developing their teams and delivering results.
  • Complete operations and leadership/management skills training and learn about key aspects of the business and CVS Pharmacy culture.
  • Maintain satisfactory performance and demonstrate consistent progression throughout the program.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be eligible for the PMEL program, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Currently works full-time (30+ hours per week)
  • All current role required training 100% completed
  • Meets Expectations or higher rating on last performance review
  • Modest or Strong Pharmacy Manager assessment (Virtual Job Tryout) score
  • Not currently on a level three warning or performance improvement plan within last year
  • Willingness to consider and accept a promotion into a Pharmacy Manager position if offered
  • Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy locations within the same District
Salary and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $65.00 - $78.00 per hour.
