Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, and hygiene
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including laundry and housekeeping duties
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with activities and events, promoting socialization and engagement
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience working with elderly or individuals with dementia preferred
  • Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted
