Key Responsibilities:
- Execute repairs as outlined in the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives and utilize diagnostic tools to assess vehicle performance.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional service needs.
- Provide accurate estimates for time required for further repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician preferred.
- ASE Certification is required.
- B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
- High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
- Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Outstanding customer service abilities.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive and friendly demeanor with a customer-centric approach.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with others.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and service procedures.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
