Critical Clinical Care Coordinator/ICU Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Clinical Care Coordinator/ICU Manager to join our team at K.A. Recruiting. This is a permanent position offering full benefits and a day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts.

Job Summary

The Critical Clinical Care Coordinator/ICU Manager will be responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and delegating the delivery of patient care to a defined group of patients during their entire hospitalization period. This includes promoting the practice of professional nursing in The Intensive Care Units (ICUs), acquiring, developing, and utilizing resources needed to fulfill those responsibilities, and promoting the overall quality of care provided on these units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the delivery of patient care to a defined group of patients during their entire hospitalization period.
  • Coordinate and delegate the delivery of patient care to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective changes to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Assess and prioritize opportunities to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Work cooperatively with administrators, physicians, staff, other managers, and all customers to provide services that consistently meet and exceed expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years clinical acute care nursing experience with 1 year in ICU or comparative unit.
  • Dialysis experience required.
  • 1-year management experience as full-time or relief charge nurse, clinical care manager, or Nursing Administrative Supervisor desirable.
