About the Role

AIDS Healthcare Foundation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Client Care Specialist (WCCS2) to join our team. As a WCCS2, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in our Wellness Clinics and Fixed Site locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present a friendly, helpful face to patients and provide courteous, confidential, and professional support to clients within testing programs.
  • Enhance the reputation of AHF by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability.
  • Contribute to a positive experience, fostering trust and loyalty by seamlessly transitioning between clinical, administrative, and front office roles.
  • Work as a part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care by collecting medical histories, managing tests/screenings, recording vitals, and addressing health complaints.
  • Facilitate patient registration, appointment management, and electronic chart creation.
  • Require proficiency in data documentation, including referrals and reports.
  • Valid phlebotomy license or medical assistant certificate is necessary, with skills in venipuncture and sample collection, including blood and other specimens, preparing them for laboratory analysis.
Requirements
  • Valid phlebotomy license (OR) current medical assistant (MA) certificate.
  • Ability to travel day to day to various Wellness and Fixed Site locations depending on staffing needs and directed by supervisor.
