Addiction Counselor

Westhab, Inc. is seeking a skilled Addiction Counselor to join their team in Queens, Far Rockaway. The successful candidate will provide counseling and case management services to individuals struggling with addiction.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field and 2 years of experience working in a similar setting. They will be certified as a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) by the State of New York and possess excellent communication and documentation skills.

The salary for this position is $52,500 per year, which is competitive with industry standards. As a member of the Westhab team, you will be part of a dynamic organization that provides housing and supportive services to vulnerable members of our community.

This is a non-exempt position that requires occasional evenings and weekends. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing linkages with community resources, daily life skills training, and crisis intervention as needed.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions
