Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Federal Tax Associate to join our team. As a Federal Tax Associate, you will work with large and small companies in various industries, developing strong working relationships with clients built on understanding their businesses and challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Work on a team that focuses on a wide range of tax specialty areas, including accounting for income taxes, corporate taxation, and individual taxation.
  • Complete tax planning and research, preparing federal and state & local tax returns.
  • Understand tax regulations and accounting pronouncements, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Accounting major.
  • Travel to assigned client locations is required, with access to reliable modes of transportation.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working toward the successful completion of the CPA exam, with the opportunity to obtain audit hours required for full certification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
