Job Summary

The Stella Hotel, a Noble House Resort, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward Assistant to join our culinary team. As a Steward Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean, transport, and store all pots and pans used in the food and beverage operations, maintaining the pots and pans room in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Clean and sanitize all china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots and pans in the hotel, ensuring restaurant and banquet kitchens have the requisite amounts of the above to properly open their shifts.
  • Responsible for the proper sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchens and food preparation areas, including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, preparation slicers, steam kettles, tables, and floors.
  • Food prep and maintenance of food storage areas as directed by chefs.

Requirements

Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail. Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
